About the job
- Deep understanding of the derivation of safety requirements.
- Experience in safety software development in at least one of the following areas: powertrain, chassis, intelligent cockpit, or ADAS; application and safety-mechanism development for TriCore, RH850, Infineon, ST, or TI microcontrollers or microprocessors; or Classic AUTOSAR or Adaptive AUTOSAR based on QNX or Linux.
- Proficiency in ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO 21448, and ISO 8800 standards.
- Proficiency in safety analysis methods such as FMEA and FFI, and related tools.
- Knowledge of basic software development processes and software testing methods.
- Knowledge of software development processes and toolchains.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in software engineering, electronic engineering, or control engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one of C, C++, assembly programming, or Simulink.
- Proficiency in human-computer interaction and practical experience using AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot, DeepSeek, or ChatGPT, with the ability to validate and optimize AI-generated content.
- Perform safety analysis of monitoring software using methods such as DFMEA and FFI.
- Identify and document safety-related system and software requirements and their interfaces.
- Develop safety functions in the safety software domain and deliver safety-software work products in accordance with the safety plan.
- Deliver high-quality software implementation work on schedule.
- Integrate and test software according to specifications.
- Troubleshoot software-related issues and fix defects.
- Collaborate with other teams, including teams in Germany, India, and China, on project development.
- Support functional safety assessments.
- Support system-level and product-level safety analyses.
- Work with AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
