About the job
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 4+ years of hands-on development using C#, Windows Forms, ASP.NET, HTML5, Asynchronous JavaScript and XML, Internet Information Services, Windows Server, Structured Query Language, and Visual Studio.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience building and maintaining web and desktop applications.
- Ability to work in customer-facing roles, communicate effectively, and provide technical support.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Written and verbal communication skills focused on clear documentation and collaboration across teams.
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Design, modify, test, and deploy C# and ASP.NET applications; create and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support manufacturing systems.
- Configure and maintain servers, virtual machines, workstations, and lineside information technology equipment; use SNMP, What's Up Gold, vRealize, and VNC to monitor system health and performance.
- Analyze system logs, debug source code, and create incident reports to resolve production-impacting issues; serve as an escalation point for MES Technicians.
- Work closely with production engineers, managers, and stakeholders; assist users with manufacturing information technology, quality data, and robot status and communication; train and support MES Technicians.
- Ensure high availability of systems through clustering, replication, backups, and patching; coordinate with network, security, infrastructure, and database teams to maintain proper configurations.
- Prior hands-on experience in system administration and working within manufacturing execution systems or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with software and technologies such as Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, Oracle, Procedural Language/Structured Query Language, Programmable Logic Controllers, Android, Linux, VMware, Active Directory, Manufacturing Execution Systems, and PGL.
- Understanding of industrial control systems and manufacturing-related information technology infrastructure, including integration with production equipment and software platforms.
