Requirements
A strong interest in working with and compassion for seniors.
Experience completing household tasks.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as a vacuum, washing machine, dryer, microwave, and other tools used in household cleaning.
Ability to use a computer, fax, copier, and telephone.
High school diploma or GED.
A valid New York State driver’s license is required, and transportation to and from clients’ homes is necessary. A car is preferred because local travel is required. Clients may not travel in the employee’s vehicle.
Responsibilities
Perform house cleaning in clients’ residences, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and using and cleaning appliances.
Make and change clients’ beds and complete laundry.
Immediately report problems or changes in clients’ needs, such as a need for help with bathing or personal care, to a supervisor.
Desired Qualifications
Prior experience as a companion, helper, and/or home aide is preferred.
A car is preferred for required local travel.

Schedule: 35 hours per week
Rate of Pay: $20.47 per hour – benefits included.
This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location.
