Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two or more years of distribution and logistics experience are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required to manage large amounts of data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required to create basic documents and reports.
  • The ability to communicate and influence others is required.
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot insurance claims and other order types and identify and execute enhancements to order management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company and business policies and administer appropriate order flow.
  • Manage communication with Materials, Operations, and Fulfillment centers to process insurance orders and ship devices within service-level agreements.
  • Use the Oracle warehouse management system to modify, migrate, and push orders through shipment.
  • Verify order lines, prepare daily reports, manage shipments, respond to order-status inquiries, and resolve order issues.
  • Monitor and evaluate order issues and resolve them using available tools.
  • Work with Purchasing to resolve claim escalations that cannot be satisfied because of current stock availability.
  • Generate reports communicating priorities and urgency to other departments, including backorder and kitting priorities.
  • Research claims requiring migration of existing models and execute migrations to satisfy claims within service-level agreements.
  • Communicate with Planning about devices that need prioritization from production lines for all programs.
  • Ensure first-in, first-out processing is followed to satisfy older claims.
  • Research program- and customer-specific requirements to move orders from Entered status to Booked status so orders can be cascaded within the system.
  • Create feedback reports to monitor overall daily and monthly service-level agreement attainment and publish the data to stakeholders.
  • Create model-level reports covering claim status, pending shipments, overall program status, and action items needed to fulfill and troubleshoot orders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • Oracle experience is a plus.
  • More than two years of experience in inventory control and material management or movement is desired.

Assurant and Cogeco partner to offer mobile device protection and trade-in solution in Canada

Assurant has partnered with Cogeco Communications to launch a digital-first mobile device solution for Canadian customers. The collaboration gives Cogeco mobile users access to network-compatible devices through Assurant's ecosystem, including new, refurbished, and certified Open Box models from Best Buy Canada. Customers can browse and purchase devices on BestBuy.ca with flexible financing options. Assurant Q1 earnings jump 76% on lower catastrophes and strong investment income

Assurant reported first-quarter 2026 net operating income of $5.95 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 10.2% and rising 76% year over year.
