Requirements
  • Experience supporting members of the Senior Executive Service or Flag Officer equivalent.
  • Ability to provide executive-level or general administrative support across all facets of administration.
  • Ability to work independently and experience supporting the Department of Defense.
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree and six years of experience in an administrative or business field, or an Associate of Arts degree and eight years of experience in an administrative or business field.
  • Three years of experience supporting a CEO-level military equivalent, such as the Senior Executive Service or a Flag Officer.
  • Six years of experience executing and leading tasks associated with senior executive-level or general administrative support across all facets of administration.
  • Expertise preparing, reviewing, and coordinating executive-level correspondence.
  • Expertise in Controlled Unclassified Information, For Official Use Only, and classified information handling programs and procedures.
  • Expertise in government records and database management processes and procedures.
  • Expertise in government travel processes and systems.
  • Expertise developing and maintaining administrative schedules, including electronic schedules and calendars.
  • Expertise developing, supporting, and delivering senior executive correspondence, including decision memoranda, read-aheads, daily updates, meeting minutes, metrics, and ad hoc reports.
  • Expertise in government task management systems.
  • Proficiency researching, reviewing, and preparing meeting support materials, including briefings, papers, and read-aheads.
  • Proficiency working with government time-management procedures and systems.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, including telephone, office etiquette, and written communication.
  • DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references, and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to use a keyboard and monitor.

  • Provide executive-level correspondence support.
  • Manage executive-level correspondence and staff actions.
  • Provide executive-level meeting support.
  • Attend executive-level meetings.
  • Support communication of policy and guidance.
  • Monitor training and education.
  • Serve as a command suite receptionist.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Work on-site in accordance with Department of Defense and Missile Defense Agency policies, directives, and processes.
  • Travel as required.
