Requirements
  • A General Equivalency Diploma or high school education is required.
  • At least two years of relevant experience is required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of required background checks is necessary for employment.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact from the application process through graduation.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute graduate program events.
  • Update graduate program communications, statistics, logistics, and policies.
  • Coordinate graduate student recruitment and admissions, including offer letters, terms of offer, prospective student inquiries, campus visits, applicant updates in the Graduate Admissions Decision System, and new student orientation.
  • Assist students with course-related functions such as dropping, adding, and scheduling courses.
  • Answer curriculum and graduation requirement questions.
  • Coordinate faculty graduate teaching and research appointment assignments for Department Heads’ review and approval.
  • Manage graduate faculty advisor status for committees.
  • Maintain graduate student records, including advisor assignments and milestones, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with university record security, retention schedules, and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act requirements.
  • Monitor and update student progress toward critical milestones; schedule qualifying exams, comprehensive exams, and final thesis or dissertation exams; and file required documentation with the Graduate School.
  • Assist with the graduate curricular proposal process using the CourseLeaf Curriculum Inventory Management system.
