About the company

NVIDIA designs and manufactures graphics processing units (GPUs) and computing platforms used for gaming, data centers, and artificial intelligence. These products work by using parallel processing to handle complex mathematical calculations much faster than standard computer processors, supported by a software ecosystem that allows developers to build and run AI models. Unlike competitors that may focus solely on hardware, NVIDIA integrates its chips with specialized software and cloud services to create a complete environment for high-performance tasks. The company’s goal is to provide the underlying technology necessary to power advanced computing, from realistic video game graphics to autonomous vehicles and large-scale data analysis.

Nvidia partnership boosts Einride stock 6% as autonomous truck firm eyes 2,000-vehicle fleet by 2028

Einride, the Stockholm-based autonomous freight technology company, announced a partnership with Nvidia to power its next-generation driverless trucks. Nvidia will provide the computing platform and AI tools for Einride's autonomous systems, with both companies jointly developing the next Einride Driver on Nvidia's Hyperion platform. Einride shares jumped roughly 6% in premarket trading following the announcement. The company currently operates hundreds of electric trucks across the US, Europe, and the Middle East, and expects demand to reach 1,500–2,000 vehicles by 2028. Einride reported first-half 2026 revenue of SEK 273 million, up 26% year-over-year. The company posted a net loss of SEK 1.12 billion, driven largely by non-cash charges related to its recent SPAC merger. Management is targeting cash-flow breakeven by 2028.

Nvidia hits $96B revenue despite AI fears as hyperscaler capex guided to $1.3T by 2027

Nvidia reported Q2 fiscal 2027 revenue of $96.2 billion, up 106% year-over-year, beating consensus by 4.51%. Data Centre revenue alone reached $89 billion, up 117%, with networking up 138%. The company guided Q3 revenue to $108 billion, excluding any China Data Centre compute. Management projects hyperscaler capital expenditure will hit $800 billion in 2026 and $1.3 trillion in 2027, yet Nvidia can only supply roughly 70% of stated demand through fiscal 2028. The chipmaker generated $21.34 billion in free cash flow during the quarter and $96.58 billion across fiscal 2026. It returned approximately $26 billion to shareholders in Q2 through buybacks and dividends. Nvidia maintains a net margin of 55.60%, return on equity of 101.5%, and debt-to-equity ratio of 0.073.

Nvidia edges 0.7% higher as Apple demos trillion-parameter AI model running locally on Macs

Apple demonstrated four Mac Studios running a trillion-parameter AI model together, showcasing edge computing capabilities that could reduce reliance on cloud infrastructure. Despite this advancement, Nvidia shares rose 0.7% to $229.08, indicating investors see limited threat to its data-centre business. Nvidia generated $89 billion in data-centre revenue from $96.2 billion total sales last quarter, representing 92.5% of overall revenue. The company maintains a GF Score of 95/100 with strong profitability and growth metrics. The key uncertainty is whether local AI processing will become a structural substitute for cloud-based inference or simply add another computing layer. Apple's approach may appeal for data security and cost control in specific workloads, but hyperscale training and unpredictable peak demands continue favouring Nvidia's cloud infrastructure solutions.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says paying California's proposed $8B billionaire tax would be 'a privilege

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said he would view paying billions in additional taxes as a "privilege" if California voters approve a proposed one-time levy on the state's wealthiest residents this autumn. The measure would impose a 5% tax on Californians with net worth exceeding $1 billion. With his fortune estimated at $184 billion, Huang could face an $8 billion tax bill over five years. "The fact that I can afford to pay $8 billion in taxes over five years is a privilege," Huang told CBS News. "Nothing would give me more joy than to be able to pay even more taxes." He added: "I'm not afraid of paying taxes — I'm just afraid of being poor." Huang co-founded Nvidia in 1993 and has served as CEO since. He owns roughly 4% of the company, which surpassed $5 trillion in market value in 2025.

Trump's Nvidia deal turns Armenia into surprising AI hotspot with 70,000 chips

A San Francisco-based startup called Firebird has launched a data centre in Armenia featuring over 70,000 Nvidia chips, positioned to become one of Europe's largest computing clusters by year-end. The facility, located in Hrazdan near the capital Yerevan, will reach 300 megawatts capacity with a fifth reserved for domestic use and the remainder for foreign firms including Perplexity AI. The project played a role in securing a US-brokered peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan. President Trump's team promised permission for Nvidia exports to advance conversations with Armenia, according to people involved in the talks. The development demonstrates Armenia's effort to establish itself as a regional tech hub, building on its Soviet-era electronics heritage. Firebird, whose founders are of Armenian descent, is already expanding into neighbouring Central Asia.
