As our next Carbonite, you’ll be joining a team at multiple levels. You’ll be part of a team in your office, working with other talented people such as yourself. You’ll also be joining our national ranks, meaning you can easily tap into a knowledge base for a tricky question or to bounce ideas off of for the next team activity.

About the role. 
Without a Junior receptionist to help keep the wheels turning and be one of the first friendly faces that our clients see when they stop by our office is incomplete. 

You’ll need to great customer service skills and communication, and not be afraid of various technologies (such as phone systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, to name a few). You’ll also need to be organised and have strong time management because you are keeping our ship on track! 

At Carbon we often hold team activities and events, and you’ll be a great help in getting these organised. If you’ve got event coordination experience up your sleeve, that’s a bonus but don’t worry if not as we can help you along your way. 

Our receptionists will wear many hats, so it’s important you help us understand your skills and experience in your cover letter, and don’t forget to take this opportunity to introduce us to you in a unique way!

Responsibilities

Your daily activities will include (but aren’t limited to): 

• Greeting clients. 
• Answering and directing phone calls. 
• Organising beverages for client meetings. 
• Booking calendar appointments. 
• Ordering and stock control. 
• Petty cash reconciliation. 
• General office maintenance.

We're looking for someone with:

• Experienced with customer interaction and eager to expand into the corporate world. 
• Experience in a busy reception position (desirable but not essential). 
• Previous experience handling phone calls. 
• Bubbly, friendly and positive disposition. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
• Ability to work autonomously and in a busy and fast paced environment.
