Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of experience in the commercial construction industry overseeing all aspects of ground-up healthcare projects.
  • Ability to manage more than two projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead and supervise teams and coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project reporting software, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and blueprint reading.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, quality standards, and the construction process, including materials, equipment, and techniques.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites, with travel up to 30%.
  • At least three to five years of project management experience.
  • Ability to schedule and supervise the multitasking work of a multi-member team.
  • Ability to communicate with project owners, tradespeople, team members, project management, and customers.
  • Ability to use technology and manage multiple projects or activities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use stairs for fire drills and emergencies and to lift up to 20 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets, write contracts, approve invoices, and update project schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and help resolve issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Organize, process, and distribute project documents.
  • Create project schedules and develop short-interval schedules for weekly coordination meetings.
  • Expedite documents and material or equipment deliveries to meet project schedules.
  • Maintain cost-control data and prepare cost reports.
  • Maintain long-term working relationships with customers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and employees.
  • Implement and track Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design requirements.
  • Administer document control for shop drawings, submittals, subcontracts and purchase orders, insurance certificates and bonds, requests for information, plans and specifications, warranties and as-builts, manuals, notices to owner and lien releases, construction bulletins, owner change-order requests, and back charges.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents.
  • Process subcontractor payments and vendor invoices.
  • Attend project-related meetings and assist with preparing and distributing minutes and attendee rosters.
  • Write weekly reports using notes from the superintendent.
  • Manage project close-out procedures and activities.
  • Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed at the project site.
