  • 2+ years of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product design experience
  • Empathetic, and have a genuinely collaborative attitude
  • Curious and enthusiastic about solving people problems
  • Comfortable with all aspects of product design: user research, prototyping, interaction design and visual design
  • Deep understanding of the fundamental principles of product design
  • Passionate about product innovation
  • Experience working closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ship real product
  • Design and deliver end-to-end user experiences that are grounded in customer insights, business goals and technology
  • Data-driven—use data to inform design decisions

Responsibilities
  • Creating valuable, user-focused, data-driven solutions that balance both user and business needs
  • Clearly articulating concepts and design decisions to Product Managers, Engineers and other stakeholders
  • Collaborating with Product and Engineering to break down ideas and define scope for projects
  • Driving adoption of processes early within the org by being early practitioners and champions of those processes
  • Actively participating in design feedback sessions and discussions
  • Seek opportunities refine internal processes and make them more efficient surrounding design, share findings
  • Contributing to the Pendo design system and maintaining consistent visual and interaction patterns
  • Being a champion for Pendo values, best practices of design and innovation both inside and outside of the company
  • Seeking opportunities to align teams on potential problems, patterns and solutions across our suite of products
  • Become intimately familiar with Pendo as a product.
