About the job

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience with documented quota attainment in complex, long-cycle environments.
  • At least 10 years specifically selling to HR/benefits decision-makers in enterprise accounts; experience with accounts of 1,000 or more employees is preferred.
  • A proven track record closing multiple deals with annual contract values of $500,000 or more, with specific examples.
  • Direct experience in one or more of healthcare/benefits sales (health plans, wellness programs, or digital health), insurance/broker channel sales, or HR technology sales.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM, with strong documentation discipline and forecast accuracy.
  • Experience managing sales cycles of 12 or more months, seasonal buying patterns, and complex procurement processes.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% and authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a multi-year account acquisition strategy for the assigned region or vertical, building multiple pipeline sources through direct outreach, broker/consultant partnerships, and identification of market triggers.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales processes lasting 12 or more months from initial contact through contract signature, coordinating engagement across 5–10 stakeholders, including C-suite, HR, finance, and clinical teams.
  • Cultivate relationships with benefits consultants, brokers, and industry influencers who generate recurring qualified opportunities and advocate for Galileo in competitive evaluations.
  • Lead structured discovery to identify employer pain points, translate clinical outcomes into financial return on investment, and design deal structures that address budget and timing obstacles.
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM records, provide monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts, and prepare deal documentation for cross-functional execution.
  • Provide product, marketing, and leadership with feedback on competitive dynamics, messaging effectiveness, and emerging customer needs.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Client Services throughout the deal lifecycle to align implementation requirements, success key performance indicators, and long-term account strategy.
Desired Qualifications
  • Create non-traditional pipeline sources, identify market triggers ahead of competitors, and develop sophisticated territory strategies beyond basic segmentation.
  • Recover deals after an initial rejection by re-engaging different stakeholders, and adapt pitches for CFOs, CHROs, and clinical leaders.
  • Build business cases that withstand CFO scrutiny, develop creative deal structures, and identify non-obvious pain points through structured discovery.
  • Document deals so cross-functional teams can act, bring market intelligence from the field, and create playbooks or tools that improve team performance.
  • Have an established network of benefits consultants, brokers, or enterprise contacts to activate in the role.

About the company

Galileo Health runs a mobile-first platform that delivers primary and specialty care through telemedicine, providing 24/7 access to a multilingual team of clinicians. Care is delivered via a mobile app for patients to connect with doctors for a wide range of conditions, from acute illnesses to chronic disease management. The business model combines enterprise partnerships with employers and insurers to offer the service as a health benefit, plus direct-to-consumer plans, and it lowers overhead by avoiding traditional brick-and-mortar clinics. The goal is to make healthcare more affordable and accessible by scaling nationwide virtual care through employer/insurer partnerships and consumer options.
