Requirements
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy is required.
  • Membership in good standing with the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec is required.
  • Experience in geriatric settings, long-term care, or functional rehabilitation is a major asset.
  • Strong interpersonal, observation, and collaboration skills are required.
  • The ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and adapt to an evolving environment is required.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate residents' functional abilities and their occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with the care team.
  • Adapt the environment or recommend assistive devices to promote autonomy and safety.
  • Provide rehabilitation and functional stimulation interventions.
  • Participate in clinical committees and continuous improvement of practices.
  • Document follow-ups and interventions according to professional standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in geriatric settings, long-term care, or functional rehabilitation.
