Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with Ford E Series, Ford Transit, and Dodge Caravans.
- Must have personal tools.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Minimum five years of documented mechanic experience on light, medium, and heavy equipment.
- Must have a satisfactory driving history or clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must pass a negative drug test.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Some holidays may be required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair the fleet of vehicles, including general and preventative maintenance, brakes, drivability, emissions, steering and suspension.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Remove and replace transmissions.
- Tear down and/or remove and replace engines when necessary.
- Inspect vehicles and identify signs of wear and parts requiring service or replacement.
- Repair or schedule necessary repairs with the Fleet Manager.
- Log all repairs and service in the work-order system.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and inventory of supplies.
- Work collaboratively with the Fleet Manager and Operations Managers to ensure safe transportation for patients and drivers.
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certification is preferred.
