Requirements
Lead Teachers must have 3–5 years of relevant preschool classroom experience.
Lead Teachers are required to have a bachelor's degree, preferably in education. They may also need an MSDE 90-hour Preschool Certificate or CDA Certification with Preschool Endorsement, as a minimum.
Lead Teachers should have a solid grasp of child development principles and instructional strategies.
Lead Teachers need working knowledge of MSDE regulations.
Lead Teachers must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Assistant Teachers must have 1–3 years of preschool experience.
Assistant Teachers must have an MSDE 90-hour Preschool Certificate or CDA Certification with Preschool Endorsement, as a minimum.
Applicants must pass a state and federal background check as a condition of employment.
Applicants for federal center campuses must receive GSA security clearance through a government background screening.

The Roles:
Lead Teachers —
You're the heartbeat of the classroom. You'll design engaging days using our P.L.A.N. curriculum, build real relationships with your students, and set the tone for a safe, joyful, well-run room — whether you're guiding curious Twos through their first big discoveries or getting PreK students ready for kindergarten.
What you'll do:

Assistant Teachers —

Support each child's day-to-day needs with patience and care
Bring positive energy to your team, your students, and their families
You'll bring:
Preschool experience of 1–3 years

Where You'll Work
📍 Apple Ridge/Montgomery Village — Situated next to the recreation center on Apple Ridge Road, and serving families in Gaithersburg, Germantown, Montgomery Village, Laytonsville, and Clarksburg
📍 Bethesda-Chevy Chase/Bethesda — On Wisconsin Ave in downtown Bethesda, our multi-level campus is within walking distance to Bethesda Metro
📍 Montgomery Square/Potomac — Located close to Interstate 270 and Montrose Road, serving families in both Rockville and Potomac
Pay
Lead Teacher: $22.00–$25.00/hour
Assistant Teacher/Aide: $18.00–$22.00/hour
