  • 6+ years of experience managing teams and designing digital products
  • Degree in Visual Design, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Motion, Architecture, Urban Planning, Graphic Design, HCI, or related field of study
  • Amazing portfolio of design work
  • Experience with user research such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing
  • Understanding of business metrics and the ability to translate company objectives into intuitive digital experiences
  • Understanding of design systems and patterns
  • Embraces the design thinking process to solve problems
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, estimate work, and effectively deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic agile environment
  • Proactive, collaborative, and respectful when challenging opinions and strategy
  • Build empathetic relationships with and amongst your team
  • Experience working on marketplaces or ad platforms is a plus
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves and design / prototype elegant, scalable solutions when needed is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development, execution, and improvement of user experience and product design strategy
  • Help drive operational design strategy and evolve a holistic design process
  • Contribute product design thought-leadership to a collaborative team
  • Review quantitative product data and make smart business decisions
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and act as a customer experience advocate
  • Plan and run usability tests and user interview studies
  • Plan and facilitate workshops with cross-functional partners
  • Become a marketplace and advertising platform subject matter expert
  • Work in close partnership with Creative and Marketing teams
  • Recruit and develop extraordinary talent by coaching, managing, and mentoring a team of designers
