SharkNinja appoints Kritika Agarwal as Brand Head for India.

SharkNinja appoints Kritika Agarwal as Brand Head for India. April 13, 2026 Global home appliances company SharkNinja has appointed Kritika Agarwal as the Brand Head for India. In her new role, Agarwal will lead brand strategy and market development as SharkNinja looks to build its footprint in India. Speaking about her new role, Agarwal said that joining the brand at a stage when it is entering India presents a unique opportunity to help shape its journey from the ground up. She added that building the brand for the Indian consumer while leveraging SharkNinja's global DNA is both exciting and challenging. Most recently, she served as DGM - Brand Marketing at Domino's India, where she played a pivotal role in the brand's relaunch strategy, key IPL partnerships, and the company's expansion into the chicken category. Prior to Domino's, she was closely associated with the launch and growth of OLX Autos in India, and earlier began her marketing career with Aviva. Her appointment comes at a significant time for SharkNinja as it looks to introduce its globally successful portfolio of kitchen and home appliances to Indian consumers and build a strong, culturally relevant brand presence in the market.

SharkNinja launches Shark BreatheClear Max air purifier with six-year filter life

SharkNinja has launched the Shark BreatheClear Max air purifier, priced at $449 and available from 8 April. The device scans indoor environments 3,600 times hourly, detecting motion and activity to adjust filtration proactively before air quality deteriorates. The purifier exceeds HEPA standards at all fan speeds, capturing 99.98% of airborne particles including dust, allergens and microplastics. Its filter is designed to last up to six years without replacement, potentially saving consumers $350 compared to traditional purifiers requiring changes every 6–12 months. A built-in display shows real-time air quality data, identifying pollutant categories such as dust, allergens, smoke and VOCs. The launch follows SharkNinja research showing that whilst 86% of Americans believe air quality impacts wellbeing as much as diet or exercise, only one in three considers it part of everyday health.

SharkNinja's BreatheClear Max air purifier scans the room 3,600 times an hour.

SharkNinja's BreatheClear Max air purifier scans the room 3,600 times an hour. SharkNinja unveils $449 air purifier with 6-year filter and motion sensors that detect pollution 3,600 times hourly Annemarije de Boer Apr 8, 2026 Key Takeaways * SharkNinja's BreatheClear Max scans environments 3,600 times hourly for proactive air cleaning * NeverChange filter technology lasts six years, saving $350 in replacement costs * Motion sensors trigger automatic filtration before pollutants spread throughout living spaces Opening windows won't save you from cooking smoke, pet dander, or the microplastics floating through your home - but the new Shark BreatheClear Max might. Unlike traditional air purifiers that react after your air quality tanks, this machine scans your environment 3,600 times per hour, adjusting before pollutants take over your living room. Smart detection beyond basic sensors. Motion sensors trigger proactive cleaning before particles spread. The BreatheClear Max reads the room like a vigilant bouncer. When you walk in with takeout or your dog shakes off rain, motion detectors signal the system to ramp up filtration automatically. Neil Shah, SharkNinja's Chief Commercial Officer, explains the concept: "What if your purifier could anticipate changes and adjust before air quality drops? This is a system that works continuously and intelligently." The real-time display breaks down exactly what's floating around - dust, allergens, smoke, and VOCs - giving you Instagram-story-worthy proof that yes, last night's fish dinner really did linger. Six-Year filter ends subscription hell. NeverChange technology eliminates the quarterly filter replacement routine. If you're tired of Amazon reminding you about air purifier filters every three months, the NeverChange system offers sweet relief. One filter lasts six years while maintaining 99.98% capture efficiency at every fan speed - exceeding HEPA standards when most competitors only hit those numbers at maximum noise levels. The math works out to $350 in filter savings over the unit's lifespan, which helps offset that $449 upfront cost when it launches April 8, 2026 through SharkNinja.com, Amazon, and Costco. Research reveals air quality blind spots. Most people underestimate indoor pollution despite health concerns. SharkNinja's research found that 86% of consumers connect air quality to wellbeing like diet and exercise, yet only one-third actively monitor it. Even more telling: 71% believe opening windows solves indoor air problems, ignoring pollutants from cooking, pets, and household products that windows can't address. The BreatheClear Max targets families dealing with allergies, urban dwellers facing outdoor pollution infiltration, and pet owners managing dander - basically anyone whose current solution involves hoping for the best. Your home's air quality deserves better than wishful thinking and seasonal filter swaps. Whether this $449 investment makes sense depends on how often you're reaching for antihistamines or wondering why your place smells like last Tuesday's dinner. Additional sizes arrive spring 2026, expanding options for different room configurations. SharkNinja launches $150 BlastBoss air blaster to expand beyond floorcare into lifestyle category

SharkNinja has launched Shark BlastBoss, a compact cordless indoor-outdoor air blasting system priced at $149.99, initially available on its website. The product extends the company's portfolio beyond traditional floorcare into everyday cleaning tasks, supporting its push into design-led home and lifestyle categories. The launch reinforces SharkNinja's strategy of rapid product innovation across adjacent categories. The company was recently named to the Financial Times list of The Americas' Fastest Growing Companies 2026, reflecting strong organic revenue growth from 2021 to 2024. SharkNinja's narrative projects $8.0 billion revenue and $982.2 million earnings by 2028, requiring 10.8% yearly revenue growth. However, investors face risks from rising labour, production and tariff costs in Asia, alongside potential margin pressure if product uptake slows.
