Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to use mechanical lifting equipment after receiving proper training.
  • If driving duties apply, possession of a valid current Michigan driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.
  • If driving duties apply, compliance with the employer's driver safety policy, including defensive-driving training and annual review requirements, is required.
  • Employees must meet the employer's vaccination or approved exemption requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and influenza.
Responsibilities
  • Count par locations, unit storage rooms, and other area-specific supply locations when applicable.
  • Pick supplies accurately from inventory according to pick tickets and meet department quality and efficiency requirements.
  • Pack, lift, and package supplies according to requirements.
  • Stage and prepare products for shipping.
  • Stock and rotate supplies and check expiration dates in assigned locations, including nurse servers and medication rooms.
  • Record all inventory transactions accurately using defined processes and systems.
  • Log and deliver supplies as required.
  • Educate customers about supply chain functions.
  • When driving for work, operate vehicles according to the driver safety policy and applicable state laws, report hazards, accidents, incidents, and moving violations, secure authorized fuel cards, and cooperate with investigations.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
