About the job
- A Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record check must be completed as a condition of employment.
- The successful candidate must be able to safely use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer and Sodexo standards.
- The successful candidate must be able to use specialized cleaning equipment and techniques as required.
- The successful candidate may need to drive a golf cart or other types of vehicles.
- The successful candidate must comply with company safety and risk-management policies and procedures and established safety procedures.
- Clean offices, dormitories, classrooms, schools, common areas, restrooms, lobbies, food-service areas, and other assigned areas requiring special attention.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, stairways, and offices.
- Clean air vents, walls, furniture, windows, and window coverings.
- Empty garbage cans and containers, and restock supplies, linen, and changing sheets as needed.
- Clean carpets or polish floors using appropriate mechanical equipment.
- Move furniture and set up tables and chairs with assistance.
- Use a golf cart to collect campus garbage.
- Communicate repair needs to the supervisor.
- Attend classroom and virtual training programs.
- Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Previous experience is preferred, but the employer is willing to train the successful candidate.

Sodexo has signed an agreement to acquire CRH Catering, a leading convenience sector operator in the Mid-Atlantic U.S., to enhance its InReach convenience offering.
