Requirements
  • Two to five years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, actionable Jira stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative project management frameworks.
  • Proven ability to facilitate requirements workshops and working sessions with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Teams, and related tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently in an organized and detail-oriented manner.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements for technology initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into Jira epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct gap analysis comparing current-state processes with desired future-state outcomes and identify areas for improvement or clarification.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the project lead and development team.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and working sessions with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Support sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as needed.
  • Perform light project management duties, including tracking deliverables, coordinating stakeholder communication, and flagging risks or blockers.
  • Provide stakeholder communication and status updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Document current-state and future-state business processes, including data mapping and field-level documentation where applicable.
  • Support change management efforts by documenting changes and helping communicate impacts to affected business users.
  • Assist the UAT team during testing cycles by clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities; UAT execution is owned by the testing team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the carpet, rug, textile, or specialty apparel and garment industries.
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as Infor M3 or similar systems, or order management platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and project management tools such as Microsoft Planner or equivalent.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle concepts.
  • Agile or Scrum certification, such as CSPO, CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.
