Requirements
  • Previous experience in catering operations is required.
  • Ability to work independently is required.
  • A personable and professional presence in person, on the phone, and in emails is required.
  • Current familiarity with personal technology and applications is required.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and think on one's feet is required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
  • The position is full-time and hourly, typically scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional early morning, evening, and weekend shifts based on business demands.
Responsibilities
  • Answer all incoming phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Pre-qualify new leads and process all turnovers to the Sales team.
  • Coordinate events for regular repeat clients, including confirming their needs, creating and distributing event orders, and completing post-event follow-up.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks, including processing and tracking invoices, closing out the fiscal week, and running reports.
  • Book staff and rental items for catering events.
  • Create the daily delivery schedule and distribute it to the operations team.
  • Coordinate hiring and onboarding processes for hourly associates.
  • Perform daily payroll duties.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales and management team.
  • Create and maintain filing systems and backup files for records, reports, and documents.
  • Participate in local networking organizations, community events, and industry events as assigned.
