Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline, with five years of experience managing enterprise projects similar in scope; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in a related discipline with eight years of experience managing similar projects or programs.
  • Current PMI Organizational Project Management Maturity Model certification and a strong understanding of the current Organizational Project Management Maturity Model methodology.
  • Completed Organizational Project Management Maturity Model assessments with large business concerns, public-sector organizations, and information-technology organizations focused on information-technology project-management maturity.
  • Extensive consulting-services experience with both commercial and public-sector organizations.
  • Ability to assess and apply organizational and management-improvement techniques in a government environment.
  • Ability to create and assess performance measurements, with comprehensive knowledge of the information-technology industry, business processes, and procedures.
  • Extensive project-management experience and experience in other disciplines described in the applicable technical-area proposal.
  • Ability to conduct process-mapping sessions and identify key control points for testing.
  • Certification as a Certified Information Technology Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and/or Certified Internal Auditor.
  • Understanding of Business Analysis and Management Support frameworks, including Six Sigma, PMMP, ITGC, COSO, COBIT, ITIL, NIST, FISMA, A123, ISO 27000, SOX 404, and CFOA.
  • Proficiency in the most current Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience dealing with senior-level internal or client personnel.
  • Ability to manage highly complex programs and direct multiple projects within estimated timeframes and resource constraints.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, document, and execute a formal Organizational Project Management Maturity Model assessment.
  • Serve as an industry expert on Organizational Project Management Maturity Model assessments.
  • Guide junior personnel and supervise engagement-team members.
  • Ensure the overall delivery of professional-quality consulting services and ensure services and deliverables meet client requirements and deadlines.
  • Provide technical and managerial skills for the engagement.
  • Provide guidance and direction for multiple enterprise programs implementing business-process development, business re-engineering, and strategic business projects.
  • Identify best practices, effect re-engineering and change management, and apply business-management techniques, continuous-process improvement, root-cause analysis, information-technology planning, performance-based metrics, and organizational-development activities.
  • Ensure all work products are complete, accurate, and conform to federal government agency standards.
  • Serve as a key-personnel engagement-team member.
  • Communicate the value of organizational project management to high-level executives and use assessment findings to drive improvements in processes, practices, behaviors, and organizational performance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data-analytic tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn additional business tools and technology as needed.
