Edge Delta makes telemetry pipelines free with unlimited data throughput to accelerate AI Teammates adoption

Edge Delta has made its Telemetry Pipelines product free to use at any scale, with no per-gigabyte licensing costs. The Seattle-based observability platform will now charge customers only for data stored within its platform and AI tokens consumed, eliminating throughput limits and fees. The strategic move aims to accelerate adoption of Edge Delta's AI Teammates, autonomous agents that detect, investigate and resolve system issues in real time. The company positions Telemetry Pipelines as an onboarding pathway to its agentic observability platform, which processes logs, metrics and traces. CEO Ozan Unlu said the decision removes barriers to entry in a crowded telemetry pipeline market dominated by manual solutions like Cribl and OpenTelemetry. The new pricing model uses a credits-based system with no seat fees or hidden charges, even at petabyte scale.

Introducing Edge Delta AI Teammates: Collaborative AI for Any Workflow

Introducing Edge Delta AI Teammates: collaborative AI for any workflow. Today Edge Delta, Inc. is thrilled to introduce Edge Delta AI Teammates, a coordinated set of role-aware AI agents that work together across your telemetry data, tools, and workflows. Led by OnCall AI, these AI Teammates help you analyze, explain, and act on your data while keeping you in control at every step. Why did Edge Delta, Inc. build AI Teammates? Modern engineering teams face a growing challenge. Observability data is exploding. Alerts, dashboards, and logs live in separate tools. Incidents demand constant context switching. While generative AI promised to help, most solutions aren't able to interact with your data, and disconnected "agents" cannot safely act in real environments. Edge Delta AI Teammates close that gap by pairing deep observability context with role-specialized agents that collaborate in real time. The result: faster MTTR, fewer escalations, and clearer decisions, all while keeping humans firmly in control. AI Teammates represent a new generation of collaborative AI. They are powered by your observability data and guided by Edge Delta's intelligent Telemetry Pipelines, allowing you to decide what data is shared and how it is shaped before it reaches any model. This gives organizations the ability to safely connect generative AI to live operational data without giving up control. The platform is model-agnostic. You can use and switch between models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google Gemini. You are not tied to one vendor, and you can experiment with new models as they become available. Meet the team. The product currently includes six specialized, out-of-the-box AI Teammates (with more on the way). Each comes ready to deploy, integrating seamlessly with the tools you already use. These teammates communicate with one another, share context, and ensure every insight or recommendation remains traceable and human-approved. * SRE Teammate: Handles incident triage and post-incident analysis. Detects patterns, correlates signals, proposes mitigations. * DevOps Engineer Teammate: Acts as your CI/CD and infrastructure expert. Reviews deployments, rollbacks, runtime configs, and service health gates. * Code Analyzer Teammate: Performs static analysis, dependency diff, and suspect-commit detection tied to service ownership. * Security Engineer Teammate: Takes care of policy checks, misconfiguration scans, suspicious auth pattern detection, and exposure mapping. * Issue Coordinator Teammate: Acts as your entry coordinator for incidents, delivering high-signal updates and keeping issues in sync. * Cloud Engineer Teammate: Handles infrastructure management and cost optimization. All collaboration is coordinated by OnCall AI, the super-agent that routes tasks, shares context, prevents duplicate work, and ensures the right teammate is working on the right thing. Teammates are customizable by design. AI Teammates come ready to work out of the box, but you can make them entirely your own. You can edit their system prompts, add or remove connectors, attach new tools, or change the model they use. This flexibility means you can shape each Teammate to your environment and your workflows without being locked in to any vendor. Edge Delta, Inc. support the most popular models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google Gemini, and Edge Delta, Inc. will add new models as Edge Delta, Inc. continue expanding. You'll even be able to connect your own fine-tuned LLM in the future. Threads: where work actually happens. AI Teammates work together in threads, which are living workspaces that capture all relevant information about an execution, including: * Context (alert payloads, dashboards, related services, recent deploys) * Agent steps (who did what, with inputs/outputs) * Artifacts (queries, charts, diffs, config snippets, runbook links) * Approvals (explicit "ask-to-proceed" gates for higher-impact actions) * Collaboration (comments, mentions, and task hand-offs between humans and agents) Threads keep everything auditable and shareable. You can jump in at any point to approve, edit, or re-route. How they work. AI Teammates are built on top of Edge Delta's enterprise-grade Telemetry Pipelines, which means they have access to all of your data - including batched, static, event, and streaming datasets. Here's a quick overview of how they bring it all together: Step 1: Signals arrive: Edge Delta ingests your logs, metrics, and traces and listens to external systems, such as GitHub and PagerDuty. Step 2: OnCall AI routes: The super-agent opens a thread, attaches context, and assigns the first step to the right teammate. Step 3: Teammates collaborate: Agents call tools to perform tasks like queries, code analysis, and config checks. They then summarize findings and share results. Step 4: Humans are always in the loop: Any action with risk - such as a restart, rollback, policy change, and any other write operation - requires your approval. Step 5: Outcomes land: Tickets are created, dashboards are updated, PRs are proposed, and postmortems are drafted - with everything automatically documented in the appropriate thread. What's included on day one. * Six out-of-the-box specialist agents: SRE, DevOps Engineer, Code Analyzer, Security Engineer, Issue Coordinator, and Cloud Engineer. More teammates are coming soon! * OnCall AI: The super-agent that handles context routing, task assignment, de-duplication, and hand-offs. * Threads with approvals: Human-in-the-loop gates, artifacts, and conversation history. * Tooling catalog: Safe, permissioned actions for queries, rollbacks, diffing, tickets, dashboards, and PR scaffolding. * Observability-native smarts: Pattern discovery, cohorting, and change correlation across logs, metrics, and traces. * Guardrails: RBAC, per-agent scopes, rate limits, and a full audit log of every agent step. What's next. Edge Delta, Inc. believe that AI should function as a true collaborator, empowering humans to maximize their impact and focus on the strategic decisions that matter most. Edge Delta AI Teammates are not here to replace your team. They are here to join it, and this is only the beginning. Edge Delta, Inc. is expanding the teammate roster to include a Compliance Reviewer Teammate, a Cost Optimizer Teammate, and a Data Quality Analyst Teammate, so be on the lookout. Edge Delta, Inc. is also deepening tool integrations and adding richer analytics on agent effectiveness, so you can quantify time saved and risk reduced. Open your first thread, connect the tools your team already uses, and watch AI collaboration come to life across your data and workflows.
