Responsibilities
  • Request and gather evidence to support due diligence exercises for claims vendors.
  • Coordinate reviews of due diligence materials with other teams in the organisation.
  • Record due diligence and ongoing governance activity in databases.
  • Gather and record evidence to monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels.
  • Obtain and record feedback from claims teams on vendor performance.
  • Assist the Claims Vendor Team with compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements relating to claims handling and third-party outsourcing arrangements.
  • Ensure gathered data is correctly recorded in systems or spreadsheets.
  • Assist with administrative tasks generated by the TPA audit programme.
  • Check that appropriate evidence is gathered and stored.
  • Liaise with auditors to provide evidence.
  • Contribute to delivery of the team's business goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects relating to vendor management or associated activities.
  • Assist with enhancing the Arch brand.
  • Take minutes at internal and external meetings and coordinate completion of actions.
  • Support the Claims Vendor Manager and Claims Operations Manager with ad hoc tasks as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • A-levels are desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in insurance, particularly at a Lloyd’s managing agency, is beneficial.
  • A good understanding of the claims-handling process is advantageous.

Arch Insurance launches US transactional liability team to expand risk insurance capabilities

Arch Insurance North America has launched a new US-based transactional liability team to expand its transactional risk insurance capabilities. The business will initially focus on Representations & Warranties and Tax coverage products. The new team is led by William Carson, who joined Arch from Everest where he served as Head of Transactional Risk, North America. Carson reports to Chris Christon, Senior Vice President, Executive Assurance. Arch Insurance has been active in the transactional risk market for over 15 years through various partners and channels across North America, Bermuda and the United Kingdom.
