About the company

Mira Mace provides a care-navigation platform for Medicare beneficiaries by pairing patients with dedicated care advocates who handle administrative and navigational tasks such as coordinating care, scheduling appointments, navigating insurance benefits and pre-authorization denials, resolving medical billing issues, and finding in-network specialists. The service blends human support with AI, with advocates delivering personalized assistance and AI handling repetitive back-end tasks. Medicare coverage makes the service available to eligible patients at no extra cost, while clinical services are provided by the independent Mira Mace Medical Group PA. The goal is to reduce administrative burdens and help patients access timely, in-network care for chronic conditions, mental health, and mobility needs.

What believers are saying

  • September 2026 postings show 16 open roles, signaling aggressive expansion.
  • Foundation Capital and Define Ventures backing validates fundraising momentum and recruiting power.
  • Live referrals from hospitals, SNFs, and home health agencies already exist.

What critics are saying

  • First dedicated sales hire in September 2026 exposes weak repeatable go-to-market.
  • Nine-person team and 16 open roles strain execution across care, engineering, and sales.
  • Medicare dependency creates existential CMS reimbursement risk if coverage or billing rules tighten.

What makes Mira Mace unique

  • Medicare-covered advocacy removes out-of-pocket friction for beneficiaries and referral partners.
  • Human nurses plus AI agents automate navigation, billing, and preauthorization workflows.
  • Founder-led product marries chronic-illness experience with a focused Medicare beneficiary wedge.
