Requirements
  • University degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Technical Product Management.
  • Preferably direct experience in leading technical products or domains focused on developer/engineer experience.
  • Understanding of design thinking methodologies and principles; and how they can applied to improve developer/engineer experience.
  • Ability to understand and use APIs and command line interfaces like AWS, and Cloud Infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).
  • High-level understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, security practices, quality practices and software development tooling.
  • Able to take ownership, collaborate, and communicate efficiently with stakeholders.
  • High-level understanding of JavaScript ecosystem (JavaScript, TypeScript, WebPack, NPM, etc).
  • Experience with data analytics platforms such as Looker, Amplitude, Fullstory, Pendo, Datadog, Jellyfish, etc.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to plan, drive and deliver the platform strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the vision.
  • Create and own quarterly roadmaps, goals, and drive alignment with leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve product roadmap and OKRs, and ensure every enhancement or feature delivers tangible business outcomes aligned with the strategy.
  • Work closely with Engineering leaders to build and maintain a deep understanding of developer experience and generate ideas to improve it across the engineering department.
  • Define, monitor and analyze platform product metrics to prioritize features and initiatives that meet OKRs.
  • Research, identify and draft specifications, and craft user (developer) stories. Work closely with the Product team and Engineering leaders to plan project rollout through development, testing, and launch.
  • Define, monitor and analyze product and engineering metrics, and incorporate learnings back into the delivery process to improve processes and reduce ambiguity.
  • Own the product backlog, sprint prioritization, and user stories. Build comprehensive project and implementation plans.
  • Actively build working relationships with the Engineering teams and leaders to facilitate cross-departmental alignment. Assess roadmap capacity, build the roadmap, and justify planned initiatives to ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Create and maintain training materials, providing training and demos for new features and enhancements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
