- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in customer service, call center operations, logistics, or administrative support roles.
- Employees assigned to support Life Science customers must successfully complete a TSA Security Threat Assessment and all required TSA security training before performing any function involving unescorted access to regulated cargo, and must obtain and maintain all required Life Science certifications within 90 days of hire. These qualifications are federally mandated conditions of employment; failure to obtain or maintain them makes the employee ineligible to continue in the role, consistent with applicable law.
- Answer inbound calls from customers and Independent Contractors, ensuring accurate information entry into company systems.
- Assist Independent Contractors with route completion issues, escalations, and general operational support needs.
- Build positive relationships with customers and contractors to strengthen service satisfaction and retention.
- Process routed, on-demand, and special delivery orders according to established standards and procedures.
- Evaluate order-fulfillment feasibility based on service requirements, customer needs, and operational constraints.
- Assign and dispatch deliveries, update dispatch boards, and monitor time-sensitive shipments to meet service commitments.
- Review and manage required documentation to ensure compliance with Client Operating Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain and log Proof of Delivery documentation within required timeframes.
- Track shipments via GPS and proactively resolve delays or service interruptions.
- Conduct post-flight and trace investigations as needed to support continuous service improvement.
- Generate daily reports summarizing transportation issues and proposed corrective actions.
- Manage incoming emails, electronic filing, and system data related to customer and contractor records.
- Monitor external factors, such as weather events and civil unrest, that could affect operations, and escalate them to leadership when necessary.
- Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred.
- An Associate’s Degree is preferred.
- Experience in pharmaceutical delivery, clinical trials, aviation transport, or logistics is preferred.
- Knowledge of aviation or airline networks is a plus.
- Availability to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays is preferred.
