Patient Assistant - Pediatric Operating Room - Days

Provides and maintains a safe, neat, and clean patient environment. Ensures the maintenance of supplies, equipment, and patient care in accordance with established procedure. Participates in patient care activities as a member of the nursing team and under the supervision of a registered nurse.

This is a full time position working Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Preferred Criteria

• Experience as a Nurse’s Aide or equivalent 

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• BCLS certification according to the American Heart Association
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors
