  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition and HR functions.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting and various sourcing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HR software. Greenhouse and ADP preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) would be a plus
  • Familiarity with HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of roles across the organization.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, manage candidate communications, and facilitate the offer and onboarding processes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements, create job descriptions, and determine appropriate recruitment channels.
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to improve hiring processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure a positive candidate and employee experience by fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Provide training to interviews and hiring managers on recruitment best practices.
  • Support HR functions including employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation.
  • Assist with new employee first day onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR initiatives that support business objectives and enhance employee engagement.
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations, applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion programs, employee wellness activities, and organizational development efforts.
  • Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
  • Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including; bi-weekly and semi-monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, importing expense reimbursements, inputting exceptions, hourly employee validations, and benefit changes.
  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies.
