Requirements

  • Ability to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation, unless doing so would cause undue hardship.
  • Successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a criminal background check, drug test, driving record review, employment verification, and other job-related screenings.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, twisting, climbing stairs or ladders, and working in cramped or elevated spaces.
  • Ability to operate ground support equipment safely, including tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
  • Clear vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision, and hearing sufficient for monitoring flight information, radio communication, and safety compliance.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in a noisy environment near aircraft engines and ground support machinery.
  • Ability to complete a post-offer Physical Capabilities Test, if required, including lifting and carrying weighted items, climbing steps with weighted items, rotating to identify letters or numbers, and pulling a weighted sled.
Responsibilities
  • Promote and maintain a culture of safety.
  • Meet operational targets while maintaining service, timeline, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Assume responsibility for the team and team members while leading, coaching, and motivating the team's work.
  • Assign flights for the day and schedule and manage agents on a week-to-week basis.
  • Recognize and celebrate individual and team performance.
  • Monitor team activities to ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Verbally coach and recognize agents to reinforce and improve behaviors.
  • Investigate operational, safety, and performance irregularities, focusing on future prevention.
  • Communicate findings and recommend improvements.
  • Provide a comprehensive briefing and handoff to the next shift.
  • Mentor newly trained and experienced station agents in station agent job functions.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize passenger cabins, including seats, seatback pockets, tray tables, armrests, overhead bins, carpets, and windows.
  • Clean and disinfect lavatories and galleys and restock supplies such as soap, toilet paper, sanitary bags, and towels.
  • Empty trash receptacles in lavatories, galleys, and the flight deck and properly dispose of waste, including biohazard or spill cleanup using personal protective equipment and approved disinfectants.
  • Restock cabin items such as pillows, blankets, magazines, amenity kits, and safety cards.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning materials and cabin supplies.
  • Maintain clear communication with flight crews and other ground personnel.
  • Perform regular equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
  • Comply with federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier safety and security requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.
