Requirements
  • Completed vocational training as a plant mechanic specializing in refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation technology; industrial mechanic; mechatronics technician; technician in the aforementioned areas; or comparable technical training.
  • Knowledge of measurement, control, and regulation technology and building automation systems is desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge in operating and maintaining building-services and industrial-technical systems, especially in clinical and laboratory operations, is desirable.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and common applications, including Microsoft Office, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform inspection, repair, and maintenance work on building-services and utility systems and operational equipment.
  • Participate, within defined guidelines, in planning and maintaining operational readiness.
  • Proactively support improvement projects in the assigned work area.
  • Eliminate faults, including as part of on-call duty.
  • Independently perform minor installations and maintenance measures.
  • Analyze weaknesses and initiate measures to eliminate identified deficiencies in facilities.
  • Independently contact and support external contractors.
  • Maintain system documentation.
  • Maintain spare-parts inventory and complete the necessary ordering processes.
  • Comply with statutory regulations and requirements.
