Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Physical Therapy is required.
- A current state license or certification is required.
- Current registration with the American Physical Therapy Certification Board is required.
- Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in the physical therapy discipline is required.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements is required.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders using therapeutic procedures designed to restore muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, movement, and function, and to relieve pain.
- Work as a member of a therapy team by providing support and information within the physical therapy discipline.
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of rehabilitation experience is preferred.
