Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT support, systems engineering, or Managed Services Provider environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including identity and access management.
  • Advanced experience administering Microsoft Intune, including device management, policy creation, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Teams and Exchange Online.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, core services, and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoints, identity, Microsoft cloud technologies, networking, and infrastructure.
  • Ability to balance reactive support with proactive system improvements and long-term planning.
  • Experience partnering directly with client stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineering and service delivery teams.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a senior technical resource supporting one or more client environments through hands-on engineering, troubleshooting, and infrastructure support.
  • Administer Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Azure, and other modern cloud services.
  • Manage identity, endpoint, and cloud environments while ensuring security, compliance, and operational best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across servers, endpoints, cloud platforms, networking, and enterprise applications.
  • Support and maintain core infrastructure, including Windows Server, virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud-based environments.
  • Lead or contribute to infrastructure deployments, technology refreshes, migrations, and other client-facing engineering initiatives.
  • Perform proactive system administration, health checks, patching, lifecycle planning, and environment optimization.
  • Partner directly with client stakeholders to understand business needs, provide technical guidance, and recommend infrastructure improvements.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk, Project Engineering, Professional Services, and other cross-functional teams to deliver client outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, and environment records.
  • Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for critical incidents.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and industry best practices to improve client environments and service delivery.
Desired Qualifications
  • Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification is preferred.
  • Experience supporting mid-sized environments of 200 or more users in a client-facing Managed Services Provider environment is preferred.
