They serve the community through their work to support prisoner rehabilitation and in addition, they keep staff and people in custody safe and secure. As a prison officer, you’ll be part of the team helping to make the community safer for everyone.
Prison officers come from a wide range of backgrounds; all life experiences are highly valued. The recruitment process will give you opportunity to demonstrate the skills and abilities you already possess that have the potential to make you a good prison officer.
