  • Skill in reading project plans, selecting equipment, and aligning decisions with company interests is required.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities, are required.
  • The ability to work across all management levels and with clients is required.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to drive on behalf of company business are required.
  • The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, extended standing or walking on project sites, climbing in and out of equipment, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
  • The role requires effective communication, tool use, adherence to safety protocols, and use of required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, gloves, a hard hat, and steel-toed boots.
Responsibilities
  • Execute assigned projects, including safety leadership, quality, profit and loss, regulatory compliance, resource utilization, contract administration support, cost administration, project plans, schedules, and operational goals.
  • Act as the primary field interface between Project Management, superintendents, assigned craft, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of construction professionals, including site supervisors, foremen, and laborers.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes safety, accountability, and adherence to company policies and regulations.
  • Share responsibility for the profit and loss of assigned operations.
  • Communicate assignments and responsibilities to field personnel, as directed by the assigned Project Manager, both in writing and orally.
  • Assist Project Managers in generating basic project schedules and reading and understanding critical path logic projects.
  • Provide necessary equipment for effective project execution at the direction of the assigned Project Manager.
  • Take disciplinary action, hold craft personnel accountable, and manage end-of-project layoffs or reassignment of craft personnel.
  • Execute all project activities according to plans and specifications, ensuring quality and safe project execution.
  • Assist Project Managers with cost administration, including monthly forecasts and determining weekly and monthly production quantities.
  • Follow company procurement policies when purchasing materials and assist with subcontractor selection and tracking.
  • Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.
