  • The candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed and thorough cleaning of plant areas, including the lunchroom, showers, locker room, workstations, walkways, and grounds.
  • Complete record keeping associated with inspections and environmental documents.
  • Perform the role safely and wear all required personal protective equipment.
  • Understand and practice Trojan Battery Quality Policies.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, including Nilfisk vacuums, hydro-retrievers, and sweepers.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on cleaning equipment under supervision.
  • Perform light maintenance duties, including painting walls and doors, carpentry, light repairs, and replacing lights.
  • Collect coveralls and towels for pickup by the cleaning service.
  • Operate the cardboard compactor machine.
  • Follow and maintain good housekeeping and hygiene practices.
  • Be available for various shifts and overtime.
  • Understand specifications and labels associated with hazardous materials.
