About the job
- Obtain Live-Scan fingerprint clearance.
- Maintain a current CPR and First Aid certificate.
- Pass a TB test and health screening.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
- Help serve meals and snacks.
- Participate in the facility’s Activities Program to enhance residents’ quality of life.
- Attend facility-provided monthly and quarterly in-service training, totaling one hour per month and twelve hours per year.
- For residents with developmental disabilities, align performance with the facility’s Program Design.
- Complete specialized training for working with residents with developmental disabilities.
- Achieve goals outlined in each resident’s Individual Program Plan (IPP).
- Maintain detailed progress notes tracking accomplishments of IPP objectives.
- Support residents’ daily living activities and help maintain a clean-living environment.
- Participate in residents’ nutritional, personal care, and social needs.
- Offer residents and their families advice on nutrition, cleanliness, and household activities.
