GAAP gross margin declined to 57.7% from 58.9%, while company-defined non-GAAP gross margin, which excludes stock-based compensation and acquisition-related costs, fell to 59.3% from 60.5%. Company-defined non-GAAP net income, which excludes stock-based compensation, acquisition-related costs, and the $9.0 million project-termination credit and adjusts for related tax effects, increased to $8.2 million from $6.4 million.
