Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years of military operational and training experience.
  • A minimum of two years of Air Operations Center-specific experience, including exposure to exercise planning and execution and AOC modeling and simulation tools.
  • A minimum of two years of experience with Theater Battle Management Core System, Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer, IBM PC hardware, Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems, FalconView, C2PC, JADOCS, Intel Office, JTT, COLISEUM, IWS, and C2WSPTT software.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain daily a realistic computer-based Master Scenario Events List software application to support Air Operations Center mission qualification and continuation training.
  • Review authoritative United States Air Force instructions and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures weekly to ensure applicable databases and Part Task Trainer training programs and software comply with current Joint and Air Force doctrine.
  • Assist daily in developing planning materials for doctrinally correct, theater-specific intelligence and reconnaissance software files, programming products, and reports.
  • Assist daily in developing and delivering Air Operations Directives, Air Tasking Orders, and other operationally oriented software file and programming products for teams and cells assigned to a typical Air Operations Center.
  • Provide on-site Command and Control Weapons System Part Task Trainer assistance and instruction at approximately 10 Air Operations Center locations during training scenario execution.
  • Update and maintain Master Scenario Events List database files and related software update products daily to ensure scenarios support unit training requirements.
  • Conduct daily in-depth research on operational and intelligence aspects of proposed real-world and synthetic training scenarios to ensure scenario products meet the needs of each Falconer Air Operations Center.
