Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Own and close complex Enterprise deals - lead end-to-end sales cycles for high-value, multi-market partnerships with Fortune 500 and global organisations.
  • Act as a strategic hunter - identify, prioritise, and break into target enterprise accounts, building a pipeline through proactive outbound and network-led approaches.
  • Sell globally, execute locally - structure and close deals across multiple geographies, partnering with in-market teams to drive execution and adoption.
  • Design bespoke commercial solutions - craft tailored propositions that align Deliveroo’s product capabilities with complex client needs, including pricing, rollout models, and integrations.
  • Navigate technical and product complexity - work closely with Product, Engineering, and Legal to unblock deals, address security/compliance requirements, and shape scalable solutions.
  • Translate client needs into product insight - act as the voice of the enterprise customer, feeding structured insights into the product roadmap and influencing prioritisation.
  • Operate with resilience through long sales cycles - manage multi-threaded stakeholder groups (procurement, legal, HR, finance, tech) and maintain momentum across extended deal timelines.
  • Influence strategy - contribute to the broader Deliveroo for Work strategy through market insight, deal learnings, and data-driven recommendations.

London, 14th May 2026: Deliveroo, the on-demand delivery platform, is rolling out two new major product updates this week, as it continues to give customers even more choice from their favourite high street restaurants and shops. The first feature, called 'Bundles', allows customers to shop from up to three stores in one single basket for no extra delivery fee, covering the thousands of grocery and retail stores available on Deliveroo app. It is initially being tested with customers across the UK and Ireland who use Deliveroo for grocery shopping. The feature is an industry-first in the UK, with no other delivery platform currently offering the capability to order from three stores in one single order. It has been designed to help local supermarkets and retailers capture more orders, by removing a key pain point for customers. Currently some customers do not complete a grocery or retail order because they cannot find everything they need from one store, whether that's due to out of stock items, specific dietary requirements, or the desire to tick off a diverse shopping list in one go. In fact, a lack of selection at a single store was ranked as a top barrier for grocery and retail purchases on Deliveroo.* By trialling a multi-store ordering functionality, Deliveroo is seeking to increase order volume, frequency and basket size by creating a more flexible and dynamic customer experience that simulates a trip down a local high street. The move marks the latest step in Deliveroo's continued investment into its grocery and retail offering. Suzy McClintock, Vice President of Consumer & New Verticals at Deliveroo, said: "We want to emulate a trip to the shops on your local high street through the ability to order from multiple stores in a single order. Whether that be your local supermarket, butchers or bakers, through to your pharmacy, or florist, grocery customers can fulfill different needs in a single order, for no extra delivery cost." Expanding 'Top up' to restaurants Additionally, Deliveroo is enhancing its 'post-order top up' functionality. Previously, this feature gave customers a ten minute window after checkout to add items from a nearby retailer to their restaurant order, such as adding a bottle of wine or dessert from a supermarket. The 'top up' is then delivered by the same or an additional rider is dispatched. Deliveroo is now extending the same 'top up' capability to restaurants. This means that after placing an order, whether that be from a local restaurant, supermarket or retailer, customers can seamlessly add items from a restaurant nearby post check-out. The new feature is the perfect solution for those who want to order from two separate restaurants, or who want to order a meal alongside groceries. Both the 'Bundles' and 'Top-Up' features are in pilot phase and may be iterated over time depending on customer response. *Deliveroo market research of more than 1,500 consumers who use delivery apps for groceries (2025). Further information on how Bundles works Eligible customers will spot multiple prompts within the Deliveroo app to create a Bundled order across the menu pages. All customers must begin the user journey by adding items from one grocery or retail store, before they will see prompts to add additional products from one or two other nearby stores. To ensure multi-store orders are delivered quickly and efficiently, they will either be fulfilled by a single rider, or they will be delivered separately by multiple riders. Customers will be presented with GPS tracking information and an estimated window for delivery, as with any other order.

Tortilla reunites with Deliveroo after 2-year snub. The group has adopted a multi-aggregator strategy along with Just Eat and Uber Eats. Tortilla has renewed its partnership with delivery aggregator Deliveroo after the Mexican chain previously ended its relationship in February 2024, citing challenging margin profits. In 2024, Tortilla made a strategic decision to condense to a dual delivery platform to improve profit conversion and increase focus on in store revenue. The arrangement is expected to be rolled out across a significant proportion of the Group's UK company-owned restaurants, which is expected to enable the group to broaden customer reach, improve service availability and optimise delivery performance across multiple channels. "Delivery remains an important and complementary channel for Tortilla, and this new multi-aggregator arrangement reflects our disciplined approach to accessing incremental demand while retaining operational and commercial control," Brandon Stephens, CEO Tortilla Mexican Grill plc, said. Join QSR Media UK community The new delivery arrangement now sits alongside its existing relationships with Uber Eats and Just Eat. The agreement has been entered into on standard commercial terms. Tortilla's board believes that the new delivery arrangements will enhance Tortilla's ability to serve customers conveniently, whilst maintaining appropriate control over pricing, promotions and operational standards, and is expected to drive incremental delivery sales in the current and future financial years, where the channel remains strategically and economically attractive.

Liberis teams up with Deliveroo to strengthen funding for UK hospitality. Liberis, a leading embedded finance platform, has announced a UK partnership with Deliveroo, to launch Deliveroo Capital, a funding solution built to support restaurants and food businesses operating on the Deliveroo platform. Through Deliveroo Capital, Liberis provides eligible UK restaurants with access to flexible funding directly within the Deliveroo Partner Hub. Merchants can review and access pre-approved offers in the same place they manage orders, performance and day-to-day operations. Hospitality businesses continue to face rising costs and fluctuating demand, making timely access to capital essential. Deliveroo Capital is designed to provide funding that reflects how restaurants trade in practice. Rob Fairfield, chief executive officer of Liberis, said: "Restaurants operate with little margin for delay, making access to capital a day-to-day operational concern rather than a strategic luxury. "Traditional lending models often fail to reflect how hospitality businesses actually trade, and so by embedding finance directly into the Deliveroo platform, funding can be accessed at the moment it's needed, rather than adding friction to already pressured teams." The product went live in the UK in January. Following a strong initial rollout, they're expanding access in phases to thousands more eligible UK businesses during Q1 2026. Eligibility is assessed using Deliveroo platform data alongside Liberis' funding expertise, enabling decisions based on real trading performance. Eligible merchants are notified within the Deliveroo Partner Hub, where they can review and access funding with minimal effort. Payments are collected as a fixed percentage of future sales processed through the Deliveroo platform. This means payments flex in line with trading performance, helping restaurants manage cash flow during quieter periods while clearing balances more quickly when sales are stronger. Rob Harris, chief revenue officer and vice president of merchants at Deliveroo, said: "Restaurants are constantly balancing operational pressures with the need to invest and grow, and its new partnership with Liberis offers a practical and accessible funding solution. "We are excited to continue finding new ways to support the industry through a range of different services." The partnership is intended as a long-term collaboration, with plans to expand access over time.

(Image Credit: Deliveroo). Deliveroo has launched a PLA-lined paperboard takeaway box, designed by students from Sheffield Hallam University, UK, and produced by Biopak. The paper-based solution is biodegradable and can be composted in food waste streams, where applicable. The box's lining is made from a plant-based material, and the design features a new locking mechanism. Jen Bagshaw, head of Packaging at Deliveroo, says: "We are constantly seeking innovative solutions to global challenges. Partnering with the talented apprentices at Sheffield Hallam University has been an inspiring journey, allowing us to champion the next generation of sustainable packaging designers." "By providing the platform and financial backing to turn the students' creative vision into a reality, we are thrilled to see this solution officially launch on our webstore for our partners to purchase." The partnership between Deliveroo, Biopak, and Sheffield Hallam University, formed as part of Deliveroo's first Sustainable Packaging Challenge in 2024, in which a student was challenged to design a takeaway box that prevented spillages and maintained food at the right temperature. The competition was won by students Josephine Cooper and William Shaw, who designed a sealing system that uses additional folds in the cardboard to create a more secure locking mechanism. Winners of the competition, Shaw and Cooper, add: "Seeing our design progress from a university project to a live product on the Deliveroo webstore is an incredible feeling. We focused on creating a locking mechanism that performs in the real world. We hope this proves that sustainable packaging can be highly functional and cost-effective." Compostable solutions. Deliveroo highlights that, as food-contaminated plastic is rarely recycled, compostable packaging offers an "alternative end-of-life route" to conventional plastic takeaway boxes. Compostable solutions are increasing as innovation targets end-of-life solutions that promote circularity. Recently, Packaging Insights spoke to Tipa Compostable Packaging about the company's compostable label to be presented at Packaging Innovations 2026 this week. "Most conventional labels contaminate organic waste streams, creating significant challenges for composting operations," says Gary Tee, vice president of Global Converting at Tipa Compostable Packaging. "Tipa's compostable labels directly address this gap by aligning packaging design with how waste systems actually function, and regulatory developments are increasingly pointing toward compostable labels as the preferred solution." Eco-Products launched its portfolio of reusable, recyclable, and compostable packaging in the UK. The solutions are set to be available through UK-based Vegware, a sister company. Meanwhile, a United States Department of Agriculture board voted against adding synthetic compostable materials, such as those derived from biodegradable packaging, to the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances due to potential contamination with PFAS and microplastics.
