  • An Associate or Bachelor degree in applied science for medical laboratory technology, biology, chemistry, or related science is required, along with a year of clinical training in an accredited school of medical technology.
  • Candidates must be registered by a nationally recognized certification agency or be registry eligible.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require moderate to broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility.
  • Perform a broad range of laboratory procedures or specialize in blood banking, chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, or laboratory send-out reference testing.
  • Work in the core laboratory.

  • Active certification is preferred.
