  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable experience
  • 10+ years of experience working within software engineering teams
  • 5+ years of experience in a software leadership role
  • 3+ years of experience writing software
  • 5+ years of experience working in a cloud-based environment - both internally and externally (3rd party dependencies)

  • Recruit, grow, coach, lead, and inspire a collaborative, positive-minded, efficient and driven team
  • Work across organizations at SimpliSafe - influencing internal/external stakeholders, partners, system owners, technical architectures, and process frameworks
  • Be a steward of the “One Team” SimpliSafe culture in driving home the strategy that quality is everybody’s responsibility
  • Own the resources and shift the movement from a place where QA engineers alone deliver positive quality outcomes, to where all engineers deliver improved quality from the start
  • Develop and execute on the strategy that testing automation is how we scale with finite resources
  • Ultimately ensure both an increase in speed and in quality with each release
  • Live by the belief that what you don’t measure you don’t improve
