Housekeeper/Laundry Aide – Assisted Living Facility

We are currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform general cleaning duties in resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met

- Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing residents' clothing and linens

- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and safety protocols

- Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times

- Assist with minor housekeeping tasks as needed to support overall facility operations

- Report any maintenance or safety issues to appropriate personnel

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience in housekeeping, laundry, or a similar role preferred

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods

- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in a healthcare or assisted living environment is a plus

- Compassionate attitude and respect for residents’ privacy and dignity
