- Provide care within high-care intensive-care units and the certified weaning unit.
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and rotations to learn the full spectrum of intensive care medicine.
- Perform and develop expertise in organ-support procedures, including dialysis, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, and plasma exchange.
- Undertake therapeutic and diagnostic interventions independently after appropriate training.
- Participate in specialized internal and operative intensive-care training and/or cardioanesthesiology training.
- Attend internal continuing-education sessions in intensive and emergency medicine, including Advanced Life Support and Immediate Life Support courses.
- Additional qualification in Emergency Medicine.
