Project Engineer / Project Manager - Nearshore & Shallow Water
About the job
- Engineering education or equivalent in the maritime, offshore, marine civil engineering, or a related field.
- Confirmed experience on offshore, subsea, pipeline, submarine cable, or complex maritime works projects.
- Knowledge of nearshore and shallow-water environments and landfall issues.
- Experience in project-preparation engineering with a strong focus on field execution.
- Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects and coordinate different stakeholders.
- Professional English is essential.
- Lead and coordinate the engineering studies required to prepare the project.
- Contribute to defining installation methods and operational sequences.
- Analyze technical and operational constraints related to nearshore and shallow-water works.
- Act as the interface between engineering teams, marine operations, subcontractors, and the client.
- Verify that studied solutions are consistent with operational feasibility.
- Identify project risks and contribute to defining mitigation measures.
- Prepare and support offshore operations through their on-site execution.
- Participate in technical and operational project monitoring.
- Experience with an offshore contractor or specialized engineering company is particularly appreciated.
- Experience in the nuclear sector or on critical infrastructure would be an asset.
