  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar from an accredited college or university
  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Preference given to students met on campus, at a national recruiting event, through a Rockwell Automation-hosted event or a targeted recruiting campaign
  • Preference given to students who have had prior intern or co-op with Rockwell Automation in the past
  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering
  • Basic computer programming (C++, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript)
  • Experience with industrial automation environments including PLC or drives programming
  • Previous experience with Industrial Automation products
  • Experience using Agile methodology
Responsibilities
  • work with a team of engineers and industry professionals in one or several of the following areas: Hardware Development, Hardware Test
  • modeling various aspects of drive/controller systems, lab testing, prototype evaluation, technology investigations, and small design projects
  • design and development of scripts for automating test procedures
  • documenting of test procedures
  • execution of test procedures for verification of product functionality (manual/automated)
  • creation of test reports
  • assistance with lab audit/improvement activities
  • assist with build and commissioning of test hardware platforms
