ARX Robotics designs and manufactures autonomous unmanned ground systems for defense and humanitarian missions. Its modular platforms support logistics, surveillance, and evacuation tasks, and can scale to different needs. Mithra OS is a proprietary AI operating system that retrofits existing military vehicles into autonomous units, enabling cost-effective fleet modernization. The company differentiates itself through retrofit capability, in-house AI software, and a dual-use strategy as it scales production and expands internationally with a new Munich facility and UK plans.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • ARX Industries plans mass-production of thousands of Rys Pro UGVs in 2025, scaling to tens of thousands by 2026.
  • ARX secured €11M Series A extension in mid-2025, bringing total funding to €42M to enhance Mithra OS and expand production.
  • ARX opened a London office in 2025 and plans UK production with a predominantly UK supply chain for defense sovereignty.

What critics are saying

  • UK Ministry of Defence cancels ARX's £45M production facility in July 2026, forcing relocation to Poland and losing 30-month job timeline.
  • Ghost Robotics secures exclusive EU-Ukraine UGV deal via 2026 initiative amendment, capping ARX's revenue at €12M versus projected €80M.
  • ARX's €42M funding depletes by Q3 2026 due to UK facility loss, forcing liquidation of Munich assets and ending scale beyond 1,800 vehicles/year.

What makes ARX Robotics unique

  • ARX launched Mithra OS in December 2024, the first AI system converting legacy military vehicles to autonomous units.
  • ARX inaugurated Europe's largest Munich production facility for autonomous military robotic systems in July 2025.
  • ARX supplies the largest Western UGV fleet to Ukraine's army with modular GEREON series deployed in six armies.
