Requirements
  • BA/BS in Finance or Accounting; CPA helpful
  • 5–8+ years federal finance/budget experience; DOE preferred
  • Facility Clearance; DOE Clearance level as indicated for work performed
  • Funds control, reconciliations, Excel/BI tools
  • Primarily focused on assistance program and project management support in daily business activities aligned with Program Support activities Finance and Administration Functional Area Activities
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio; ability to learn other tools quickly
Responsibilities
  • Support budget formulation, execution, reconciliations, financial reporting, audits
  • Provide Finance and Administration management support across functions such as human resources, legal, accounting, auditing, information technology, logistics, and transportation
  • Work at the Hanford Field Office in Richland, Washington with potential for some remote support
  • Automate financial dashboards for Department of Energy reporting
  • Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations
  • Support fiscal year-end surge activities
  • Contribute to cost/price analysis activities in support of Government contracting
  • Support Government Furnished Resources administration including office space, computer workstations, and required software
Desired Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years federal finance/budget experience; DOE preferred
  • Bachelor or Master in Finance/Accounting; CPA helpful
  • Experience with DOE or Environmental Management sector engagements
