Requirements

Business analyst experience in the anti-money laundering domain, such as name screening, customer due diligence, or transaction monitoring.
At least 10 years of banking experience.
Ability to gather, analyze, elicit, document, and manage business requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements.
Ability to understand the bank's existing technology landscape and support seamless integration.
Ability to review business requirements documents, functional specifications, capabilities, test cases, and requirements traceability matrices.
Ability to assess impacts, manage requirements-related risks and issues, and manage scope changes.
Ability to provide scopes and assumptions for IT management approval materials.

Responsibilities

Work with business stakeholders to gather business requirements.
Collaborate with business unit specialists to elicit and review business requirements.
Analyze and document to-be business and operations processes based on agreed requirements and/or function points, and perform impact assessments.
Analyze and define detailed functional and non-functional requirements based on business and migration requirements.
Monitor and manage risks and issues related to requirements and scope creep.
Write business functional release notes and contribute to the deployment plan.
Document detailed requirements in line with bank standards.
Engage with stakeholders to streamline system and operational processing.
Work with operational teams to establish new procedures as needed.
Work with system analysts and architects to ensure full understanding of the business requirements document.
Perform requirements traceability and review the list of capabilities against the business requirements document.
Manage the change process within the analysis phase.
Review and sign off functional specifications prepared by system analysts.
Review test cases with system integration testing testers.
Support system integration testing and user acceptance testing.

Essential:

Business analyst experience in AML Domain (e.g. Name Screening/CDD/Transaction Monitoring)
10 or more years of banking experience
Work with business stakeholders to gather business requirements
Requirements analysis and elicitation
Collaborate with business unit specialists to elicit and review business requirements
Analyse and document the "to be" business and operations processes based on the agreed requirements and / or function points, perform impact assessment
Responsible to analyse and define detailed functional and non-functional requirements based on business and migration requirements
Monitor and manage risks /issues related to requirements and scope creep
Write business functional release notes and contribute to deployment plan
Document the detailed requirements in line with bank standards
Understand existing technology landscape at bank with a view to delivering seamless integration
Ability to think out-of-the-box, engage with stakeholders to streamline system and operational processing
Work with various operational teams to establish new procedures as needful
Work with the system analyst and architects to ensure full understanding of BRD is conveyed
Perform requirement traceability matrix
Review and confirmed list of capabilities against BRD
Provide scopes/assumptions for IT management approval deck preparation
Manage the change process within the analysis phase
Review and signoff functional specs prepared by various system analyst
Review test cases with System Integration Test (“SIT”) testers
Provide support for SIT/User Acceptance Test (“UAT”)
