Lens develops a Japanese SaaS platform that provides governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions for third-party and vendor risk management. Its flagship Lens RM centralizes vendor data, supports workflow management and risk assessments, and adds security features to digitize outsourcing, cloud, and internal-project reviews. The platform uses a central vendor ledger and defined processes to streamline supplier risk oversight, with AI augmentation added recently. Lens targets large enterprises on a B2B subscription basis, leveraging deep financial and fintech risk expertise to simplify and strengthen risk governance as outsourcing and cloud usage grow.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Lens raised JPY 844 million on 2025-02-05 from Coral, Coreline, and DG Daiwa.
  • On 2026-03-13, Resona adopted Lens RM across holding company and four banks.
  • Lens broadened from supply-chain visibility into AI-based risk evaluation for regulated buyers.

What critics are saying

  • ServiceNow already ships Nth-party monitoring, workflows, and AI, compressing Lens's differentiation.
  • Lens still reports only seven employees in May 2026, limiting enterprise delivery capacity.
  • If Resona and GMO Aozora do not expand, Lens remains a seed-stage niche vendor.

What makes LENS unique

  • Lens RM targets Japanese financial third-party risk workflows, not generic enterprise GRC.
  • The platform already handles Nth-party tracking and AI-assisted risk review.
  • Founders Shingo Fushimi and Takashi Nozawa bring fintech and enterprise operations experience.
