Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Support and participate in client requirements to enable the Federal Agency’s Energy Programs to respond to priorities across post-disaster and post-conflict recovery, economic growth, poverty reduction, regional security, and environmental stewardship
  • Assist the Federal Agency to implement a broad range of energy sector programs that promote environmentally sound economic growth, rehabilitate energy sectors in post-conflict and post-disaster contexts, improve resilience of energy systems, and enhance energy security
  • Provide technical assistance and capacity building to manage the legal, regulatory, policy, governance, operational, financial, economic and transactional components of improved energy sector performance and enabling environment for private sector investment
  • Support four technical themes: Clean Energy, Energy Poverty, Energy Sector Governance and Reform, and Energy Security, including programs targeting varying levels of sector development
  • Engage with missions, regional bureaus, host-country stakeholders and partners to align program delivery with agency priorities
  • Support post-disaster and post-conflict contexts and reform efforts to attract private sector investment into modern energy services
